Dear Friends,

It is with deep regret that the Culture & Animals Foundation and the Animals & Society Institute announce that there will be no International Compassionate Living Festival in 2009. We do not have sufficient sponsorship this year to produce the type of event that we know many of you have loyally and enthusiastically supported. We remain hopeful for more favorable circumstances in 2010. 

Although we will miss the opportunity to gather together in the spirit of humane progress, please know that both of our organizations remain fully committed to our primary animal protection programs and will devote our full energies to them in the coming year. We will keep you up to date on all future plans, and thank you for your kind support.
