Jerstin Crosby

Creativity, 2012, 2011, 2009, Grantee Link >

Jerstin Crosby received three grants from CAF. His art was featured in exhibitions at Good Citizen Gallery in St. Louis, Missouri, and at Mattress Factory, a museum of contemporary art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jerstin brings awareness to animal rights and environmental issues through interdisciplinary works that combine seemingly unrelated contexts into forms that are both humorous and subversively dark. His installation piece, “In the Manner of Smoke,” was exhibited at Good Citizen Gallery from February 19 to March 20, 2010, and was reviewed in ARTFORUM International by critic Ivy Cooper. His site-specific installation “On The Inside,” which combined video, sculpture, and two-dimensional works, was exhibited at Mattress Factory from March 25, 2011 to August 7, 2011.

Jerstin continues to create and some of his work can be found here.
