Georgina Montgomery

Georgina Montgomery received her Ph.D. in the History of Science and Technology from the University of Minnesota in 2005. After teaching for two years at Montana State University, she joined Lyman Briggs College in the fall of 2008. Her research focused on the history of field science, particularly the development of field methods and sites within primatology and animal behavior studies. CAF funded Dr. Montgomery in research on the human–animal studies program. She is currently Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning at Lyman Briggs College and the Department of History at Michigan State University.
