A. Marie Houser is the founder of Faunary Press, and the editor of After Coetzee: An Anthology of Animal Fictions, the first anthology of its kind. Intended to change representations of animals other-than-human in the literary arts, and inspired by Nobel- and Man Booker-prize winner J. M. Coetzee, After Coetzee sought to define and inaugurate a new genre: ethical literature for and about other animals. A. Marie received a CAF grant for work on this volume. She applied to CAF for a grant to work on this volume. A description of the contents of the volume can be found here.
