CAF Board Member and Grantee is Voted Wildlife Photographer of the Year

We’re very excited that multiple CAF grantee and board member Jo-Anne McArthur was voted Wildlife Photographer of the Year, People’s Choice Winner with her photograph of Pikin and Appolinaire. Pikin was going to be sold for bushmeat but was rescued by Ape Action Africa. She was being moved to a larger sanctuary and awoke from being sedated right before Jo-Anne took the photograph. You can learn more about the photo and see the runners-up here. The photograph will be displayed at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London, until the end of May.
